Josie A. Arbogast

Paralegal/Office Manager

Josie began her career as a legal assistant in 2010 in Utah with a disability law firm. In 2014, she moved to Pendleton and began working as Craig’s assistant at the Umatilla County District Attorney’s Office. As a team, Josie and Craig developed a strong working relationship that they now bring to the Russell Law Group.

Josie has a wealth of knowledge in both criminal law and the legal system in general. She has incredible attention to detail and dedication to serving our clients’ needs and goals.

Away from the office:
Spending time with her husband and 2 children

Ashley R. Sams

Paralegal

Ashley moved to Pendleton in 2013 with her now-husband. In Pendleton, she began working for the Umatilla County Circuit Court in 2015. She worked as both a civil and criminal law clerk,
gaining extensive experience handling a variety of legal issues in both criminal and family law.

Ashley works closely with Kendra on the family law cases and is one of the primary contacts for our family law clients. Ashley and Kendra provide every client with outstanding service and legal representation. They’re here to answer questions and assist you through very difficult and emotionally taxing times.

Away from the office:
Working on her family farm with her husband and 2 children

Blake A. Greenup

Paralegal

Blake was raised on a horse and cattle ranch in Heppner, Oregon. She is a born and bred East Oregonian. Blake started working for the Umatilla County Circuit Court in 2019, and assisted the judges in both criminal and civil matters. Through the Court, Blake learned the ins and outs of the legal system, which she now brings to the Russell Law Group. 

Blake primarily assists Kendra on the family law cases. Blake is committed to helping each and every one of our clients navigate through, what may be, one of the most difficult times of their lives. 

Away from the office:
Spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors

Maddison M. Long

Legal Assistant

Maddison is a local Pendletonian who recently returned home after graduating first in her class, with honors, from UCLA. While in college, she earned degrees in social justice, gender studies, and political science. Maddison also participated as a board member with the anti-human trafficking organization, L.A. Stop the Traffik (LAST), where she provided assistance to victims of human trafficking. Her work with LAST has greatly contributed to her passion for the law. Prior to attending college, Maddison worked as a professional model, traveling internationally with businesses such as Nike, Vogue, and NARS.

Away from the office:
In her free time, Maddison enjoys backpacking and mushroom picking in the Blue Mountains here in Eastern Oregon and wine tasting in the nearby Walla Walla Valley.
